the early proximal tubule is where glucose, amino acids, sodium, chlorine, phosphate, bicarbonate, and water are reabsorbed. only water is reabsorbed in the thin descending loop of henle, while sodium, chlorine and potassium are reabsorbed in the thick ascending loop of henle.
