Descriptioncevimeline trans-sulfoxide, also known as evoxac or FKS 508, belongs to the class of organic compounds known as azaspirodecane derivatives. These are organic compounds containing a spirodecane moiety with at least one nitrogen atom. cevimeline trans-sulfoxide is a drug. cevimeline trans-sulfoxide is a very strong basic compound (based on its pKa). cevimeline trans-sulfoxide is a metabolite of cevimeline. It is used in the treatment of dry mouth associated with Sjögren's syndrome. Cevimeline (Evoxac) is a parasympathomimetic and muscarinic agonist, with particular effect on M3 receptors.
