| Description | (8R,9S,10S,13S,14S,17R)-16-Fluoro-17-hydroxy-10,13-dimethyl-1,2,4,5,6,7,8,9,11,12,14,15,16,17-tetradecahydrocyclopenta[a]phenanthren-3-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as androgens and derivatives. These are 3-hydroxylated C19 steroid hormones. They are known to favor the development of masculine characteristics. They also show profound effects on scalp and body hair in humans. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (8R,9S,10S,13S,14S,17R)-16-Fluoro-17-hydroxy-10,13-dimethyl-1,2,4,5,6,7,8,9,11,12,14,15,16,17-tetradecahydrocyclopenta[a]phenanthren-3-one. This compound has been identified in human blood as reported by (PMID: 31557052 ). (8r,9s,10s,13s,14s,17r)-16-fluoro-17-hydroxy-10,13-dimethyl-1,2,4,5,6,7,8,9,11,12,14,15,16,17-tetradecahydrocyclopenta[a]phenanthren-3-one is not a naturally occurring metabolite and is only found in those individuals exposed to this compound or its derivatives. Technically (8R,9S,10S,13S,14S,17R)-16-Fluoro-17-hydroxy-10,13-dimethyl-1,2,4,5,6,7,8,9,11,12,14,15,16,17-tetradecahydrocyclopenta[a]phenanthren-3-one is part of the human exposome. The exposome can be defined as the collection of all the exposures of an individual in a lifetime and how those exposures relate to health. An individual's exposure begins before birth and includes insults from environmental and occupational sources. |
