Specific Function Thrombin-like snake venom serine protease that clots rabbit fibrinogen. Only the beta chain of fibrinogen (FGB) is cleaved, releasing fibrinopeptide B. Human and bovine fibrinogen are unaffected. Also cleaves Met-Lys and Arg-Ser bonds in heat-denatured bovine plasma kininogen to release Lys-bradykinin.
